HealthQWest Graduate School: Research Leadership Programme Workshop

Tuesday, 18 March 2008, 1.30 pm-4.00 pm, George Moore Building, Glasgow Caledonian University.

To explore how research capacity and capability can be established, developed and sustained at a 'gold standard' level within the HealthQWest Graduate School. The interactive workshop will cover three topics including 'Patient and Public Involvement in research', 'key indicators for creating a vibrant international quality research environment', and 'developing research leaders for the future'. Facilitators: Dr Julia Cartwright, Dr Douglas Badenoch, and Dr Diane Scutt.

Professor Leanne Aitken, Griffith University, Queensland, Australia

will give a presentation at the HealthQWest Team Meeting, 9.00 - 10.00 am, Buchanan House, Glasgow Caledonian University, on 2 April 2008 entitled 'Strategies to improve the long term outcomes of ICU survivors'.
