A workshop part of the HealthQWest Graduate School: Research Leadership Programme will take place on Tuesday 18th March 2008. The aim will be to explore how research capacity and capability can be established, developed and sustained at a ‘gold standard’ level within the HealthQWest Graduate School.
The interactive workshop will cover three topics including 'Patient and Public Involvement in research ', 'key indicators for creating a vibrant international quality research environment', and ‘developing research leaders for the future'.
This workshop will be facilitated byDr Julia Cartwright, Health Services Consultant formerly of the Picker Institute, UK. who also works with the Patient Information Forum, Oxford, UK and a number of other patient groups.Dr Douglas Badenoch, Founder and Director, Minervation Ltd, UK and Centre for Evidence-based Medicine, Oxford, UK.
