Aim and Scope
CARE is a peer reviewed journal that aims to provide an opportunity for clinicians, academic staff and postgraduate students to publish their work utilising a mutually supportive and collegiate medium. The journal is happy to consider submissions of research and/or discussion papers and abstracts in the areas of nursing, midwifery and allied and community health.
Our objectives are:
- To provide a publishing medium for the dissemination of relevant papers to an interdisciplinary health audience
- To promote a publications ethos amongst academic staff, clinicians and postgraduate students
- To provide an opportunity for ‘first time publishers’ to experience the publication process
- To promote the electronic journal as an asset to the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Community Health, Glasgow Caledonian University, and HealthQWest. And to continually attempt to increase the journals presence upon the local, national and international academic stage.
